How Canadians Can Contribute
Canadians and Canadian corporations have various avenues to contribute to this cause:
- Aeroplan Points Donations: Donations can be made directly via Air Canada or Miles4Migrants websites.
- Cash Contributions: The Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto will collect cash donations on behalf of the travel fund, ensuring these resources aid in sponsoring displaced Ukrainians.
This initiative seeks to facilitate flights for at least 10,000 Ukrainians and their families. Air Canada has already pledged a generous donation of 100 million Aeroplan points, while The Shapiro Foundation has promised to match Canadian contributions with an equivalent of up to 50 million Aeroplan points.
