Canadian Government Unveils New Grocery Rebate in Budget 2023

During his visit to Calgary, Alberta, Minister Fraser emphasized the introduction of a new Grocery Rebate designed to assist those who need it most.

Budget 2023 introduces the Grocery Rebate, a measure crafted to provide inflation relief to approximately 11 million low- and modest-income Canadians and families. This initiative focuses on:
- Eligible couples with children: Receiving up to an additional $467.
- Single Canadians without children: Benefiting from an additional $234.
- Seniors: Gaining an average of an additional $225.
