Canada Expands Global Immigration Operations with New Centre in Romania

This facility, housed within the Canadian Embassy, will be staffed by 20 new employees, comprising both Canada-based and locally-engaged personnel.

This Bucharest centre marks IRCC’s second global operations hub established outside of Canada, following the launch of its first centre in the Philippines in March of this year. These international centres are designed to complement Canada’s existing processing network, effectively extending operational hours across multiple time zones.
